Responsibilities: Technical interpretation of artist vision, prototyping & design, overseeing structural & mechanical design, overseeing software development & interface, overseeing production, safety regulations, maintenance contract negotiations, product documentation and final installation on site.
Meadow is a kinetic sculpture consisting of an upside down landscape of mechanical flowers that open and close in a poetic choreography. Custom software is developed to control the collective movement of an infinite amount of flowers. The installation suggests the impermanence of the ever-changing seasons and the sensational character of natural growth processes.
